The web site contains a wealth of information for our club members, including the full years activities, show schedules, the convenience of having entry forms, high point and recreational forms at your fingertips. We are also enrolled in the (PAC) Paint Alternative Competition and Southern States (SHOW PROGRAM) so save proof of purchase seals from your Southern States feedbags.

I, along with all the Board of Directors would like to invite you to view our web site @ www.sahiba.org also please come and attend our club meetings, which are held throughout the year. Meetings will be held at various locations, which are centrally located for all members to attend, starting in January 2010. SAHIBA was formed in December of 1982 and has been a very active club within the region since its inception. We hold fun shows for those that enjoy it for the fun and also a Class “A” show every May for those that like the competition. Hello All,

I was just notified by Neil Abrahams, racing secretary for the UAE that I can announce that the UAE will sponsor an Arabian stakes race at Keeneland Race track in Kentucky on October 9, 2010.

I had been asked to wait on this announcement and was just given the "go" ahead today. I will be sending out more information and press releases on the AJC website later today or tomorrow. This will be a Grade 1 race for 4 yr old and up (open) going 1 1/4 miles on the synthetic surface. The purse I had discussed with Neil was that of $75,000 USD. This is big race weekend for Keeneland with millions in purse money and Grade 1 Thoroughbred stakes races.

I have many details to handle with the race secretary at Keeneland and will be in contact with him regarding stabling, the entry conditions along with a host of other items. I will provide more in depth information as I have it.

Mark October 9, 2010 on your race Calendar. This is a momentous opportunity, a first ever for Arabian racing in the USA.
